Rain and Shine: Seattle Meet & Greet

It’s been a whirlwind year for the CafePress Community team; we’ve been jetting around from coast to coast to meet up with local Shopkeepers. Our most recent stop: Seattle, Washington on Saturday November 8th. So what happens at one of theses shindigs?

No two events are the same, which keeps it interesting. This time around we met up at the Pyramid Alehouse, Brewery, & Restaurant, and invited our partner Imagekind (who are Seattle based) to join us and introduce their business and products. We treated guests to a preview of some exciting new merch in the works, and talked about a few upcoming plans. Shopkeepers were jazzed over the opportunity to talk one-on-one with members with the CafePress team, and being able to meet familiar faces from the Community Forums. Our resident Buzzcowboy sat down with Shopkeepers and gave in depth advice on how to optimize their shops for better selling. As the afternoon wound down, everyone left a winner taking home new knowledge, friends, and some cool gift certificate prizes from both CafePress and Imagekind.

Fun in Philly: Philadelphia Meet & Greet

We always enjoy getting to know members of the CafePress community and having the opportunity to talk to Shopkeepers face-to-face. That’s what makes Meet & Greet events so memorable; especially our most recent adventure to Philadelphia, PA. Last Saturday, July 26, 2008 the CafePress team got together with local East Coast Shopkeepers at Philly’s Manayunk Brewery.As Shopkeepers and their guests arrived they immediately got to meeting one another. Many were frequent Community Forum members anxious to see the faces they’ve been chatting with for years.

Shopkeepers met, mingled, munched, learned, and laughed. We even got to see some repeat guests from Washington D.C.

Other Shopkeepers got-on-one advice on how to set their shop up for success.

Thanks to everyone who came out and made the afternoon a hit. We hope you had as great a time as we did, and enjoy the free swag!

Washington D.C. Meet & Greet

March 15. 2008
This March, CafePress landed in Washington D.C. for another fabulous Meet & Greet event. The Community Team, and other CafePress team met up with over 40 Shopkeepers, in the area, at the Capitol City Brewing Company for an afternoon of networking, learning, and a good time. Thanks to everyone who took the time to spend the afternoon with us! Check our highlights and pictures below.

Event Highlights

  • This trip we had more merchandise samples than ever before. Shopkeepers were thrilled to see and check out the quality of many the items in their shops.
  • Jill gave a recap of all the things accomplished in 2007, and offered a few clues on what to expect in 2008.
  • Angela welcomed new Shopkeepers with a down & dirty checklist of tips for selling on CafePress.
  • Justin & Marty interviewed Shopkeepers for insight on how they use CafePress, and what they need for a better experience.
  • Leslie held a “Pimp My Shop” session for eager Shopkeepers looking for tips on how to better their shops and increase their sales.
  • Attentive Shopkeepers walked out with $10 Gift Certificates for answering trivia questions in the end.
