In 150 words or less, what’s the story behind your shop?

I specialize in fun, unique wear for moms, babies and children. I try to keep it fresh and whimsical. Not every new mom is about kittens, rainbows and pastel bodysuits and I try to design with that in mind.

The same thing that can just make you so mad can also be really funny if you just look for it.

What makes your designs original?

Through my cards I have met many map lovers. I don’t think people automatically match maps up with humor. I’m not sure that there is anything ‘original’ really left - but, I would say that the pairing is unusual. I also use old pen and ink drawings in my designs - to me they all match, the maps, the pictures, the words - but maybe the only thing they have in common is that I love all of them - and that is enough for me!

I have three young children. They draw free pictures every day. The pictures become the hint of my creation.

In 150 words or less, what’s the story behind your shop?
I am a Japanese Manga artist. It is important in the world of Manga to produce good characters. I chose Cafepress.com as a place of the announcement of the new monster characters whom I produced. And I let the characters (mainly on the Pirate Penguin) appear in my comics. They begin to play an active part now in Japan. My dream is to spread them all over the world.
